A new project

Following Jahanarabanu's excellent tapestry weaving workshop, I've decided to do my device in tapestry. This is a picture of my device painted just to show what it's supposed to look like.























This is what I had as of last night:


















It's not taking nearly as long to weave as I had feared. I now hope to get this finished by summer. I do go back to work in a couple months, so that may slow down my progress.
